Becca Wertheim Davis: Hi ya'll! I'm Becca (pronouns she/her/hers). I am an adventurer at heart, rooted in Asheville, NC. I'm a yoga teacher and former classroom teacher & assistant principal with a passion for yoga and mindfulness in schools. My time in the classroom led me to create my online mindfulness course for educators, called Teach with Peace. I work at Yoga Ed. where we bring yoga and mindfulness to lives of millions of youth around the world. I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Asheville Yoga Center and have a Master's in Educational Leadership/School Administration with a concentration in Social Justice. As a classroom teacher, I regularly integrated mat yoga, chair yoga, and mindful practices into her daily lessons. Yoga also played an integral role in my self care throughout my time as a teacher and administrator. I enjoy sharing yoga and mindfulness with other educators and write about all things education here on my blog and over on IG @theteacherspassport. When I'm not on my mat, you can find me hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains of my home in Asheville, North Carolina.
